Winter Ice Road Construction Over Muskeg, Rivers and Lakes
CLL Holdings’ single axle and tandem axle water trucks have the necessary water attachments to build ice roads and ice bridges in muskeg or across rivers or lakes. With hydraulic-driven production pumps, in heated cabinets, our drivers can build an ice road in Alberta’s and Saskatchewan’s -40°C conditions.
Our units are equipped with ice augers, picks and cylinder screens designed to draw water from any water source, including fish bearing water, with screens designed not to harm fish.
The fan spray bar at the back of our trucks lets drivers spray a pattern of water measuring 8 to 20 feet in width. The dribble bar is used for a light spray, or direct pressure onto the road depending upon what is needed during construction.
We also have a floater water truck with a front spray bar and front spray nozzle available for ice road services in addition to our tandem water trucks.
CLL Holdings drivers are trained to operate trucks properly and safely in all weather conditions and hold current H2S, WHMIS, TDG, First Aid and other tickets as required.
